  1. To Promote Livelihood Activities:

REDA aims to empower refugees with the skills, resources, and opportunities to engage in productive economic activities, such as tailoring, hairdressing, carpentry, building, shoe-making, agriculture, and small-scale trade. By supporting income-generating ventures, the agency helps refugees become self-reliant, reduce dependency on aid, and improve their standard of living.

  1. To Enhance Access to Quality Education and Skill Development among Refugees:

Education is a vital tool for empowerment. REDA seeks to increase access to both formal and in-formal education for refugee children, youth, and adults. This includes vocational training, literacy programs, and scholarships. The goal is to enhance knowledge, employability, and lifelong learning opportunities that prepare refugees for decent work and sustainable livelihoods.

  1. To Advocate for Refugee Rights and Protection:

REDA works to promote awareness and respect for the rights of refugees as outlined in international and national laws. This involves engaging in advocacy, policy dialogue, and partnerships with government institutions and humanitarian agencies to ensure refugees are protected from discrimination, exploitation, and abuse, and can access justice and essential services.

  1. To Promote Gender Equality and Development among Refugees

The agency prioritizes the inclusion and empowerment of women and girls by addressing gender-based violence, promoting equal participation in leadership and decision-making, and supporting women’s economic and educational advancement. REDA encourages a gender-sensitive approach to all programs to ensure fairness and equality.

  1. To Enhance Psychosocial Wellbeing among Refugees:

Recognizing the trauma and stress many refugees face, REDA provides psychosocial support through counseling, peer support groups, and mental health awareness activities. These interventions help individuals recover from emotional distress, build resilience, and foster positive relationships within their communities.

  1. To Foster Social Inclusion and Community Cohesion between Refugees and Host Communities through Peace Building and Cultural Exchange Initiatives:

REDA promotes peaceful coexistence by organizing dialogues, cultural events, and community development projects that bring refugees and host communities together. Such initiatives strengthen mutual understanding, trust, and cooperation, reducing tensions and promoting unity.

  1. Environmental Responsibility:

REDA integrates environmental sustainability into all its programs by encouraging eco-friendly practices such as recycling, tree planting, waste management, and the use of renewable energy. This ensures that both refugees and host communities contribute to the conservation of natural resources and the fight against climate change.

  1. Community Integration:

The agency supports initiatives that help refugees actively participate in the social, economic, and cultural life of their host communities. This includes community service, joint development projects, and inclusion in local governance structures, promoting a sense of belonging and shared progress.

  1. To Enhance Innovation and Creativity:

REDA encourages refugees, especially youth, to embrace innovative thinking and creative problem-solving. Through training in digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and technology-driven solutions, the organization nurtures creativity and equips individuals to develop new ideas that address community challenges and drive sustainable development.

  1. To Promote Sustainability and Growth:

This objective focuses on ensuring long-term impact by building institutional capacity, fostering partnerships, promoting transparency, and creating systems for continuous improvement. REDA aims to sustain its programs and expand its reach to empower more refugees and host communities over time.

  1. To Strengthen Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Systems

Establish a robust MEL framework to track progress, measure impact, and ensure data-driven decision-making. REDA aims to produce annual impact reports and conduct bi-annual evaluations to improve program effectiveness and accountability.
